Our mission is unlocking the power of faith-based professional networks to drive excellence in both our faith and careers.

We help professional Muslim networks grow in size, confidence and impact. By empowering professional Muslim networks with tools, training and resources, we help ensure that being Muslim isn’t a barrier to professional success. There’s something for everyone, from senior managers and entrepreneurs, to graduates fresh from university and young apprentices.

Our current strategic plan 2025-27 consists of four focus areas:

• Beginning Your Career - Outreach and support for upcoming students, apprentices and recent graduates
• Early Career Professionals - Integrating Islamic values with professional ethics early in our careers
• Senior Leaders - Executive mentorship and programmes supporting and connecting mid & senior professionals
• Civil Society & Charities - Facilitating professionals to give back through trustee, board member and/or advisory roles

• We are a registered non-profit company limited by guarantee. 
• The communities of professionals that make-up Consortium can become members of the company and they elect the Directors of the company who lead the Board, which sets Consortium’s strategic direction in consultation with the member networks and community partners.. 
• Additional Board members including independents are also appointed to enrich the diversity, skill-set and competency of the Board.
• Day-to-day work is performed by a number of committed volunteers, whilst we grow and transition to a small core staff team model in the coming years.
